Our Quick-Change Halter Bridle

Why not order custom?

“There’s no point in picking up whatever is available in your local feed store when you can custom order what you need online and have it shipped to your door in a few days.”

We were happy to receive a glowing review from Gayle over at the Nuzzling Muzzles blog. Gayle recently reviewed our Western headstall with bling aboard her Quarter Horse, Rock. Gayle writes that she often struggles to find standard-sized bridles with throatlatches that will fit Rock because he has a somewhat larger cheek than other horses of his bridle size. We have a greater range of available sizes to fit different breeds and body types of horses, and make all our tack to order, so we’re equipped to accommodate horses with unique fitting needs.

Gayle was also happy wth the easy maintenance of beta biothane:

“As far as cleaning goes, they say that soap and water should do the trick, but you can also run this tack through your washing machine inside a laundry bag or pillowcase, or on the top rack of your dishwasher with no dry cycle.”

‘I didn’t have a bridle big enough for his head!’

We were psyched to get this note from Jackie and her horse, Mr. Big!

Mr. Big is actually a 16.3 hh Tennessee Walker, who’s retired from showing and becoming a great trail horse. I didn’t have any bridle big enough for his head! so I found you through a Google web search of “purple bridle.” I get a lot of compliments and some question the strength of this bridle, but so far it’s great. We run into a lot of mud right now and sweat just as much, and the reins and breaststrap get really dirty. It’s really easy to clean. I love this type of saddle blanket for the same reason, so easy to clean between uses. I’m really happy and of course, the color looks great on Mr Big!

Congratulations to Jennifer and Mags!

Congratulations to Jennifer and Mags, winners of our April tack giveaway for a two-color English breastcollar! We asked Jennifer to tell us a little about herself and her journey with her Arabian, Mags:

“I have an 18 year old gelding Arabian named Mags short for Magnanimous. We are trail riding together and he is wonderful!! I work in a very stressful position at work as an Administrative Assistant for a major pharmaceutical company and Mags has a wonderful way of making my stress just disappear. We have only been together 3 months, but he has changed my life for the better.

The breast collar you informed me that I won is exactly what I have been looking for! Your products look amazing! I am so excited!!”
We’re excited to see how Mags and Jennifer like their breastcollar, especially since we offer special sizing for Arabians.
Our May tack giveaway will be for a split ear Western headstall with reflective overlay. Want to win? Enter the giveaway here.

Shop for your horse while helping others

Susan and her OTTB (off-track Thoroughbred), Knight, recently reviewed our buckle nose halter over on their blog, Saddle Seeks Horse. Susan told us she loves the durability and easy-clean care of their new buckle nose halter, but most of all she appreciates that we have a special section of our shop dedicated to selling items from photo shoots for the benefit of local horse rescues.

“Do you wish your tack and dog gear were machine washable with flashy custom colors, and supported Thoroughbred aftercare charities? Well, thanks to Two Horse Tack in Lexington, Kentucky and the properties of Beta Biothane you can enjoy halters, bridles, reins, dog collars, leashes and more in brilliant hues that require minimal care and help out adoptable horses.”

Hello, Handsome!

We were excited to get these great images from Kim of her with Tadpole after a recent trail ride. Tadpole was accepted into the IDHA as a Drum Horse, and takes his gear on the road with him to horse archery clinics and will be headed to the GA Draft Horse Show this weekend, too.
